The race started Monday, July 13th at 1 pm, PDT, and our fans followed Celerity on the Yellow Brick tracker:
At the finish line, Pacific Air Cargo hosted our arrival party at the Hawaii Yacht Club and the food was fabulous !
In between the arrival parties, the Mt Gay, and Bacardi parties at the Hawaii and Waikiki Yacht Clubs, Celerity moved to Keehi Marine and was readied for the long trip home inside the freighter, Pasha. That means taking the mast down and putting the boat, mast, and boom on Larry Cummins' 360boatloader trailer.
And then, when Pasha arrives in San Diego's South Bay sometime in mid-August, she will be trucked to Shelter Island Boatyard where Wayne/Scott and Dave Servais will get Celerity ready to go back in the water and home to Southwestern Yacht Club.
No Transpac starts without the traditional send off party - we all attended and it was a blast.
